US Rugby Foundation Names Six New Directors

San Diego, CA (June 13, 2006) –The USRF announced the addition of six new Directors to its board at its recent summer meeting in Santa Clara, CA. The six, Dick Smith, Seattle, WA; Bob Erwin, Houston, TX; Tom Selfridge, Schenectady, NY; Bob Kaplan, Sun Valley, ID; Bill Fraumann, Chicago, IL; and Bob Woodberry, San Francisco, CA have long been involved with the sport and share the common vision of seeing the sport grow and flourish in the United States.Past United States Eagles Selfridge and Fraumann join existing USRFF board members Dan Wack and Lin Walton and USRF Executive Director Brian Vizard as former internationals serving the Foundation.“We are very fortunate to have such rugby passionate individuals, with years of experience in both rugby and business, join our board,” said USRF Chairman, Bob Watkins. “We had a very productive meeting in Santa Clara and everyone in attendance felt the Foundation is moving in a positive direction. The new additions will only continue to keep us headed in the right direction.”The USRF is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization established in 1963.
