US Rugby Foundation Joins Captain's Knock Rugby Legends Dinner in San Francisco

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, Captain's Knock brings its Rugby Legends Dinner to The Olympic Club in San Francisco, and the US Rugby Foundation is proud to serve as the evening's charity partner.

The dinner is hosted by Jeremy Guscott, the England and British & Irish Lions center, and features a panel of fellow Lions: Rob Henderson of Ireland, Jamie Roberts of Wales, and Alex Corbisiero of England. The evening will also celebrate Mike MacDonald, Head Coach of The Olympic Club and a former USA Eagle with 67 caps.

Virgin Atlantic is the presenting sponsor, joined by gold sponsors JP Morgan, Orrick, and Skyline Construction, along with a room of business leaders and supporters of the game.

As charity partner, the US Rugby Foundation joins the evening to connect with the San Francisco rugby community and share the work the Foundation supports year round. For six decades the Foundation has backed the growth of youth rugby in the United States through grassroots programs, college scholarships, coach and referee development, and health and safety.
