United States Rugby Foundation Announce Latest Ball, Coaching and Referee Grant Recipients

San Diego, CA (April 12, 2006) –The United States Rugby Foundation has announced its latest ball, coaching and refereeing grant recipients. Twenty-five youth and high school programs have been awarded ball grants while nine coaches and one referee who have completed USA Rugby sanctioned courses have been issued grants. Over the years, the USRF has provided balls to hundreds of youth and high school programs, helping introduce rugby to thousands of children. The latest recipients include a mix of boys and girls programs, youth and high school, and club and physical education programs.“The Foundation is pleased to be able to provide continued support to youth and high school clubs and programs through the issuance of rugby balls,” said USRF Executive Director, Brian Vizard. “One of our goals is to see that as many kids as possible get introduced to the sport.
