Hall of Fame Class of 2024 inductee Mike Tolkin, who recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of his successful liver transplant, comes from a family deeply rooted in professional sports. While Mike is widely recognized for his distinguished career in rugby coaching, his nephew, John Tolkin, represents the next generation of athletic excellence as a member of the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team.
On July 6, John and Team USA took on Mexico in the 18th CONCACAF Gold Cup Final, vying for their eighth championship title. Despite a strong effort, Mexico prevailed, claiming its record-extending tenth title. (Image: ussoccer.com)
