The jersey was donated to the USRF by Scott Compton, Media Manager for the All Blacks.“The Foundation is appreciative of Scott’s generosity,” said USRF Executive Director Brian Vizard. “Scott indicated that each member of both parties, including players and management, received one of these autographed jerseys so we feel fortunate we have it to offer. It will make a great Christmas present or enhance any rugby memorabilia collection.”Compton, who is currently in the United Kingdom with the All Blacks, expressed his support.“I followed with interest the jerseys that had already gone up for auction and thought that this All Blacks-Lions jersey might be able to assist the Foundation in its efforts. As someone who was involved with rugby in the U.S., I want to see the sport grow there.”The jersey is displayed on eBay with the auction ending at 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2005.The USRF is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization established in 1963.
