A Ball 4 All Campaign Comes to a Close! Finishes in 50th Place

October 1, 2010

San Diego, CA (October 1, 2010) – Well, we gave it a shot but the Rugby Foundation’s A Ball 4 All Pepsi Refresh Project initiative finished the month long campaign in 50th place. We made an early push and climbed to 30th position but then some of those campaigns that have been in the running for a few months started to pick up steam.Although we finished out of the money, we gave it a fight and more importantly, brought awareness to the A Ball 4 All initiative. And while we didn’t win the $250,000 we hoped we would, the A Ball 4 All project is one that is dear to my heart and the Rugby Foundation will continue to look for funding to make it become a reality and provide the 30,000 registered youth and high school rugby players with their own ball.On behalf of the United States Rugby Foundation, I want to thank all those who voted, especially those who voted every day in September, and also those who made the effort to spread the word about the A Ball 4 All project. I also want to thank all those past and present Eagle players and coaches and current and former internationals who contributed testimonials. Finally, I want to thank all of you for your patience during the long campaign.Best regards,Brian VizardExecutive Director
