Eagle Turned MMA Fighter

Phaidra Knight isn’t just a Hall of Famer—she’s a force of nature.
A standout Eagle for nearly two decades, Knight earned 35 caps and started in three World Cups. Inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame in 2017 and the US Rugby Hall of Fame in 2021, she retired from professional rugby in 2017—but her story was far from over.
In 2021, she stepped into the ring for her first amateur bout. And in early 2025, she made her professional MMA debut, proving once again that limits don’t apply to her.
Knight is more than an athlete—she’s a lawyer, philanthropist, and fierce role model. We proudly celebrate her ongoing journey and the powerful example she sets for women in sports and beyond.
