Cam Dolan

Most kids never get invited to a rugby practice by a classmate and end up representing their country. Cam Dolan did.

That invitation led him to the Naples Bears, then to Life University, then to a jersey he'd wear with distinction: two Rugby World Cups, a start at No. 8 in the USA's first-ever win over Scotland, and, eventually, the record for fastest Eagle to reach 50 test caps.

But here's what matters: rugby didn't just take Cam around the world. It gave him a career, a community, and a country to represent. Ask him why he plays, and the answer isn't the trophies. It's camaraderie: the challenge of achieving something bigger than yourself alongside a group of teammates.

Now, as a US Rugby Foundation Regional South Ambassador, Cam is focused on making sure the next generation of American kids gets that same shot, whether that first invitation comes from a classmate, a coach, or a Saturday morning club practice. Where a kid from Florida can end up wearing the Eagle. Where the game finds them the way it found him.

On the field, Cam built one of the most durable careers in modern American rugby: a four-time All-American and 2013 national champion at Life University, a professional with Northampton Saints, Cardiff Blues, and Nottingham in England and Wales, and a fixture for the San Diego Legion and NOLA Gold back home in Major League Rugby. Off the field, he earned his Business Administration degree at Life, the same steady, team-first work ethic that would carry him through more than a decade of pro rugby.

As an Ambassador, that same steadiness now goes toward growing the grassroots game: helping build the pathways, programs, and opportunities that turn a first practice into a lifelong sport, and, for some kid somewhere, into an Eagle jersey of their own.
