Fun Fact

Congratulations to Alyssa Cunningham for being one of sixteen collegiate players nominated for the 2024-25 MA Sorensen Award! Cunningham received the prestigious Higgins Scholarship in 2021 to play at Sacred Heart. The award will be presented at the Washington Athletic Club (Seattle, WA) in June. Good luck Alyssa!

Did You Know? 

The Sorensen and Prusmack Awards both recognize elite collegiate rugby players. While each is Heisman-like, the Sorensen Award honors only female athletes who play 15s, whereas the Prusmack Award is awarded separately to both the top male and female collegiate 7s players. Hope Rogers (Eagle, Higgins Scholarship) received the Sorensen Award in 2016.
