Looking Forward to 2027!

December 6, 2025

The draw for the 2027 Rugby World Cup is in! The tournament has grown from 20 to 24 teams — meaning we now have six pools of four teams each. From each pool, the top two teams — plus the four best third-place finishers — will move on to the round of 16. Then teams advance to quarter-finals, semi-finals, and ultimately the final.

Here are the 2027 Rugby World Cup pools:

Pool A: New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Hong Kong China
Pool B: South Africa, Italy, Georgia, Romania
Pool C: Argentina, Fiji, Spain, Canada
Pool D: Ireland, Scotland, Uruguay, Portugal
Pool E: France, Japan, USA, Samoa
Pool F: England, Wales, Tonga, Zimbabwe

The USA Men look to have a favorable draw, and there will be many exciting rivalry match-ups!

The Gift of Rugby

The US Rugby Foundation had an incredible Giving Tuesday — and an amazing week that followed. Donations, pledges, and messages of support came in like never before. We’re truly overwhelmed and grateful for the generosity of our rugby community. Thank you!

If you haven’t heard yet, we’re keeping the momentum going. We’ve extended the opportunity to give through the end of the year, so there’s still time to make an impact.

Help us spread the word!
Share this chance to give the gift of rugby with your parents, family, friends, colleagues, and fellow ruggers. Encourage them to support the sport we all love.

Let’s finish the year strong — together.
