The California rugby team defeated Life University 55–38 in the highest-scoring D1A National Championship match, securing the program’s 29th XVs title and 34th national championship overall, including five in sevens. Five student-athletes on Cal Rugby’s 2024–2025 roster have benefited from support provided by the US Rugby Foundation, with Oliver Kirk scoring a try.
