 Kevin Kitto - Director

Kevin arrived in the United States from his native New Zealand in 1973. Upon his arrival in the States, Kevin immediately became involved in the rugby culture by joining the Queen City Rugby Club in Denver, CO. He coached the Eastern Rockies Select Side from 1975-1978. He also coached the Western Rugby Union from 1976-1979. During that same period, Kevin was also a selector for the United States National Team.

Kevin moved to Florida in 1979 and served in a variety of positions with the Florida Rugby Union, including President from 1979-1983, Treasurer from 1996-1998 and Secretary from 1998-2000. He has been Manager of the USA Rugby South Panthers since 2002 and President of USA Rugby South since December 2005.

Kevin has been the Executive Director of the American Red Cross in Ft. Myers, FL. He was twice elected to serve two-year terms as a Council Person in Dundee, FL before being elected Dundee's Mayor. He was also a Founding Member of the Polk Business for World Class Education, now in its 13th year.

Kevin is currently owner of the Safeguard Business Systems, Koala Outdoor, Kitto Sheds & Equipmentand JAK Rentals. He currently resides in Florida with his wife Jill and son, Allan.
