Trustees and Directors

The Foundation is governed by a group of Trustees and Directors from around the country who volunteer their time, travel at their own expense to participate in Foundation business, and make annual contributions to support the programs of the Foundation.

The Foundation Trustees are John Decker (Lexington, KY), Don Haider (Chicago), Terry O'Reilly (San Francisco), Dan Wack (Bay Area), Jay Waldron (Portland), and Bob Watkins (San Diego).

The 25 Foundation Directors are Brad Andrews (Orlando), Michael Bolan (Chicago), John Carr(Atlanta), Dr. Ned Chambers (San Diego), Dr. John Chase (Oakland), John Dahlen (San Diego), Mike Dunafon (Colorado), Keith Englebrecht (Dallas), Bob Erwin (Houston), Terry Fleener (Colorado), Bill Fraumann (Chicago), Matt Godek (Alexandria, VA), Liz Goldenberg (New York), Bob Kaplan (Sun Valley), Kevin Kitto (Florida), John Jelaco (Los Angeles), Dr. Lyle Micheli (Boston), Fred Paoli(Denver), Jim Perkins (San Diego), Tom Selfridge (Schenectady, NY). Dave Sitton (Tucson), Dick Smith (Seattle), Alex von Lichtenberg (Boston), Lin Walton (San Diego), and Bob Woodberry (San Francisco).

In its goal for a global reach, the Foundation has also enlisted the assistance of a prestigious group of International Directors, including Peter Smith (England) and Murray Mexted (New Zealand). Longtime servant of United States rugby, Joe Walsh, is a Director Emeritus of the Foundation.

All Trustees and Directors have distinguished rugby careers, and, collectively, have a broad background in business, law, and academia. While the current roster of Foundation Directors is notable, we continue to invite additional Directors to broaden our geographic coverage of the country.
