Over the years, the USRFF has provided tens of thousands of dollars to coaches and referees who've completed courses sanctioned by USA Rugby. In addition, the USRFF has supplied numerous non-contact, pre-high school and high school teams with hundreds of size four and five balls to aid their programs. The Foundation also supplies 10 high school teams annually with Start-Up Kits, to assist their programs in getting off the ground. The USRFF has also funded projects aimed at the prevention and treatment of rugby injuries.
While most of its support is directed towards youth rugby, the USRFF also provides grants to other worthy rugby causes, as evidence by the Foundation's past financial assistance of the United States Collegiate All-Americans tours to Canada and New Zealand. The Foundation is also in the process of developing an international rugby exchange program.
