Tom Selfridge - Director
Tom Selfridge started playing rugby after college at the suggestion of a friend in 1969. Tom's rugby career included the Cleveland Blues, Schenectady Reds, the Albany Knicks, and the Windhover RFC. He was selected to the USA Eagles in 1976. Tom retired from playing in 2004 after 35 years. He was recognized as a Craig Sweeny Award recipient for his giving back to rugby through an extensive administrative career which included the USARFU Board, Executive Board, Eagle team manager, test match organizer, regional and club administrator. He founded Windhover Park RFC and club grounds in 1982, hosting many National, Regional, and local rugby events.
President and owner of Albany Valve & Fitting Co. in Schenectady, NY since 1973, he graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors' Degree in Business, holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a Professor of Management at Siena College.
Currently he serves on the 15-Love Board, the University at Albany Foundation Board, and has served on dozens of not-for-profit boards in the past.
Tom is the father of four grown children, and grandfather to nine.
